I had been looking forward to Megan and Trent’s wedding for a long time. I first met Megan when I did her graduation photos at the University of Tennessee, and a few months later Trent reached out to plan a surprise proposal that Megan thought was just a regular couples session. From there, we did two engagement sessions and even a family session together, so by the time their wedding arrived it honestly felt like I was showing up for people I already knew well.

Their wedding day at The River Place Venue was everything I hoped it would be. It was a perfect spring day, the kind that feels easy and warm without trying too hard. Megan and Trent have been together for 8 years, and that kind of steady, deep love was so present all day. One of my favorite parts was getting to include their dog Ollie, which made everything feel even more personal and true to them.
